When Jema greets Deanna

Various social media flatforms recently erupted with emojis and anything kilig, after Creamline Smashers’ prized player Jema Galanza greeted Ateneo Lady Eagles’ awarded setter Deanna Wong on Instagram very recently.

It’s all because apart from the greeting being filled with love, Galanza went all out by doing it in Cebuano. It became even more kilig after Wong replied to it.

Netizens and fans who have been following them expressed kilig even if they barely understood the message exchange.

It can be recalled that fans of their loveteam were thrilled after they were seen being touchy with each other during a photo op at the recently concluded Philippine Volleyball League open conference, wherein Creamline emerged champions after defeating Ateneo-Motolite.

Queens We Will Never Have (for now)

Since Venus Raj’s triumph, the Philippines has consistently entered the top 10 circle and has gathered two Miss Universe crowns which solidified our footing in the most prestigious pageant across the globe.

Such feat manifests that the country is a pageant powerhouse.

Catriona Gray’s huge win recently, brings us back to the question: who shall be our next MU rep?

That rep will have really big shoes to fill because Catriona set the bar so high, being the first ever candidate who made a thorough research and prepared so well.

But I will not delve on such a concern for now because that is not really my problem but BPCI’s. That problem though, made me asked: what if?

What if these three women are still eligible to join any pageant in the country?

Bea Alonzo–Standing 5’6 and with a really strong appeal and who can be dolled up easily to suit the look for a certain pageant. This Fil-Brit class A actress with really beautiful skin and pretty face can be MU if not MI material.

 
A voracious reader and a sensible speaker, Bea could have a been a beauty-queen. But that is not her cup of tea and she is already 31 years old.

Janine Gutierrez–She is definitely MW material. Those sparkling eyes of hers are very MW template. Her skintone, poise and bearing are great pluses. She is witty too. Standing 5’5 and already 29 years old, Janine constantly ignored calls for her to join a pageant.

Sarah Lahbati–the moment she joined Starstruck years ago, she was already a Bb. Pilipinas material. Her beauty is definitely MU material. And she is 5’8. She dances well, so she is for sure be fierce on the catwalk. But she is already 25, and a mother.

If only, the three of them are still qualified, we will surely have a crown or two in the international pageant derbies. Well, if they get married, they can join pageants for married women. So let’s see.
